...Unless that horse is the infamous "Bubbles," who went into blind rages upon seeing crocheted vests. As a foal, he had been repeatedly beaten with a crochet hook by his cruel mistress until that unfortunate barn fire. In this photo, the unsuspecting farmhand, Laura-Lee, is seen brushing Bubbles before he bit off her left index finger. The last thing Laura-Lee remembered before blacking out was her bloodsoaked vest and the wrenching screams (her own) of the indescribable pain of unexpected amputation.
