There's No Place Like Gnome

They were strangers in the Land of the Floating Gnome, and subsequently found themselves prisoners of their pint-sized hosts. The Gnomes may have been smaller, but they fought fiercely. All attempts to escape were thwarted; all notions of freedom abandoned as the ruthless attacks increased. The Floating Gnomes all wore red caps, signifying their bloodthirsty designs on all unfamiliar encounters. Johnny and Jenny Doll did not last very long in their capture, but sadly, their bodies were never recovered.

Forensic scientists theorised that they had, in fact, been devoured by their captors.
