Hair Raising

Whenever anyone asked Minerva what she did for a living, she told them, truthfully, that she was a "model." They'd look at her a little funny, and continue snacking on their hors d'oeuvres in silence.
You see, Minerva was actually a wig model - in fact, her brand was so popular that she was its namesake. The Minerva wig doubled as a hairpiece AND a nice tea cosy, so if one were to want to finish a nice cuppa later than anticipated, they could discreetly slip it under the wig and none would be the wiser.
Minerva's agent, Madame Da Gamba, often posed with Minerva in company shots, usually clad in salmon pink (her trademark colour).
