The Great Big Hoard-dom

At first, Melanie's family thought her obsession with carrying around her entire collection of dolls was quite adorable.
"Oh, look at the selfish, greedy little dumpling!" chirped Aunt Agatha.
"Precious, precious child," replied Grandmama.
And so, in fits of madness, they kept giving her more and more. Cousin Cuthbert, the only sensible one in the family (he collected wives), warned them of the dire psychological consequences their indulgences would have upon the tiny girl, but they failed to listen.

And so, as a woman, Melanie continued to struggle with her greed and her hoarding problems. Potential suitors fled the scene when she came near.
