The Modern Way To Feed Baby

Maybe I'm just an old-fashioned kind of girl, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the idea of feeding infants with syringe-like apparati. I'm pretty set on the idea of just using what nature gave me, "baby's natural suction" notwithstanding. Also? I'm sorry, the idea of cereals and strained pears coming out of some kind of nipple is just strange. Doesn't the point of weaning a kid involve a proper utensil of some sort? Oh, well, at least it's only $2.99.
