Provincial Towns You Jog 'Round, Hang The DJ.

The Smiths - a band ranked highly amongst those post-punk, proto-Goth musical darlings; with the divine "Go, Celibacy!" Morrissey as their melancholy lead singer. A band that includes in its repertoire lighthearted ditties like "Girlfriend In A Coma," "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore," and "Panic". Most appreciated by the high school/early college misfit set, right after The Cure.
So, naturally, The Smiths should take some kids on a double-decker bus for a joyride.
"Where are we going?" asks one jolly little boy.
"We're all going mad," replies Johnny Marr.
"I thought we were going to Kew Gardens," replies the little boy. Touché!
Probably the best highlight of this little show is "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" playing over their arrival at a gorgeous, flowering botanical garden; whereupon they come across some woman who makes them sit in a circle and listen to her sing "Jeanne."
