The Clash: Rock The Gingham

YIKES.
Now here is one crazy-ass test pattern photograph starring the Shirley From Hell. We have a woman clad in naught but an 'ethnic'-patterned beach towel (or blanket) and one insanely beaded necklace/bracelet ensemble.
The interior of her boudoir is brown gingham and orange daisies, befitting best a 70s laundromat.
But the really eye-popping choice of editing came when the art director of this book decided to take an already clashy theme and surround it with a pattern reflecting the pattern of the original dress, thus, tying the theme altogether into one gigantic steaming heap of visual manure.
