Wow..what a recipe! I love apples but I don't think I could combine these things, I'm just too picky. Like cakes mixed with fruit...vomiting as of NOW. Great post though gives me some ideas of other things to mix. :-).
Thank you Celia for those kind words abbout my blog. The Count wouuld have gotten back to you sooner, but I had a spinal-fusion operation last Monday and it will be very slow going for the count for a month or so.
