Matter of the Heart.

Gabrielle was pretty intrigued by the new kid in Beginning Algebra class, the one who had the cowlick. He looked different and he had a Yankee accent. But she was shy, and she had a hard time expressing her interest in the cowlick Yankee...the best she could do was muster a sneer and put her hand on her heart like she was gonna say the Pledge of Allegiance.
