Harold was pleased with himself. It had been a good day. That leggy blonde who worked the counter at Gibley's Department Store agreed to a date that evening. But where to take her? Certainly not to the clip joints where he usually spent his evenings. Maybe a nice steak dinner at Marguerite's on 4th? Maybe she was a chop suey kind of girl. Gee whiz, dating was tough. Maybe he should stick to going to the fights every Saturday. Hmm...would Gert be the kind of girl who liked seeing men get their teeth knocked out?
