It was a grim task for such young children, but they'd certainly made their bed and it was time to face reality. Yes, Groundskeeper Rick was dead. Yes, they'd killed him with that botchulism-laced jar of bread-and-butter pickles, and luckily for Rick death was swift. But to hide the evidence...well, that would be a little trickier. The coroner had already ruled the death as suspicious. Botchulism was a serious problem. Too serious for even 3rd graders to handle.
