It wasn't that eating the sweet, succulent flesh of humans was a bad thing. One could argue that the real crime against humanity was the means of barbeque technique. The Grogg Tribe north of the island insisted on a dry rub, roasted slowly. The Kleeb tribe to the south swore by a tomato-based glaze, heavy on the brown sugar.
It didn't matter. It was all delicious.

Eventually, the two tribes' disagreement led to a long and bloody war until white men introduced them to the wonders of Ranch Dressing. At last, the two tribes could live in peace.
